Calendar of Events, 2017

The festival consists of four events; two concerts and two competitions.

1. Festival for Adult Amateurs Pianists

Saturday, March 25, 2-5pm – Free
A friendly concert-style performances, followed by a master class by the festival guest.

2. Recital by Kenneth Hamilton, Festival Artist

Saturday, March 25, 8pm – $12 general, $7 students

3. Festival Competition for Young Pianists

Sunday, March 26, 10am-5pm – Free
A friendly concert-style piano competition featuring some of the best young pianists in the northeast.

Honors Recital

Sunday, April 9, 3 pm – Free

St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 87 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, RI

A recital of pianists selected by the festival director honoring their efforts and accomplishments.

4. Concert by URI Musicians

Saturday, April 1, 8pm – $12 general, $7 student
Compositions for solo piano and ensembles featuring students and faculty including the festival director Manabu Takasawa.
