Piano Extravaganza! 2017, in its fifteenth year, takes place at the University of Rhode Island Fine Arts Center in Kingston, RI. This event consists of concerts, competitions and a master class.  The concert-style competitions attract some of the best pianists in the Northeast. 2017 guest festival artist will be Kenneth Hamilton, Professor and Dean at Cardiff University in Wales, UK.

Sunday, April 9, 2 pm – honors recital by young pianists selected from the festival competition.  St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 87 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, RI

Saturday, March 25 starting at 2 pm – Adult Amateur Pianists
Sunday, March 26 starting at 10 am – Young Pianists

Young Pianists competition will take place in four divisions. In order to finish the event on time, each participant will be placed in an appropriate division based on the grade level and/or age at the discretion of the competition director.
